The West Nyack Post Office has adopted a platoon serving in Afghanistan and is sending packages to our brave men and women overseas. The donations must be given to the Postmaster of the West Nyack Post Office; these can include candy, drink mixes, Pringles, cookies, condiments, coffee/tea, and canned foods, like fruits, vegetables, chicken and tuna. Toiletries are also needed, such as, hand lotions, deodorant (stick), sunscreen, Blistex/Chapstick, Tylenol, Advil, body and foot powder, mouthwash, throat lozenges, and eye drops. Hand held games, cards, CD's, and movies would also be welcome. You may also include a card with a picture if you want. The cost to mail a package is $11.95 for Priority Flat Rate Box for the troops you sponsor and the check is made out to the Postmaster West Nyack Post Office.
